Open House - Family Day
Come visit camp on Saturday June 1st!
Come out for a FUN day of camp with family and friends!
Meet up at the Lafayette Reservoir for a fun family day at camp. Do some camp activities including fishing, crafts, sports, and nature games. Lunch is provided*. For all camp families and alumni – Children and family members welcome!
*Lunch is provided – Enjoy a hot dog cookout courtesy of Roughing It, or feel free to bring your own picnic lunch items! Picnic spaces are available.
Schedule
10:30am – 1:30pm – Activities and lunch at the Lafayette Reservoir
Try some camp activities including fishing, crafts, sports, and nature games. Mingle with our directors, along with some of our great summer staff. Enjoy a hot dog cookout for lunch!
Tours for New and Prospective Camp Families
Take a tour of our site and the Lafayette Reservoir. Each tour lasts about 20-30 minutes. Available times:
- 10:30am, 11:00am, 11:30am, 12:00pm, and 12:30pm

Checking In
Check in at our greeter table to receive a schedule of activities and confirm your tour time Fishing sessions run every half hour. Families can join all other camp activities at any time.
Parking at the Lafayette Reservoir
There is plenty of day parking and limited metered parking at the Reservoir, so please bring either quarters for the meter or $7 cash for all day parking. Credit cards are also accepted for meter and day parking. The meters cost $0.25 every 15 minutes. Directions to the Reservoir »
Where to Meet
Park at the far left end of the parking lot. Walk up the paved road toward the playground structure. Our greeter table will be in the grass field on the right. Look for staff in gold shirts.
What to Wear
Dress for the outdoors! Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers or hiking shoes. Bring a jacket or raincoat if rain or wind is in the forecast. Dress children in clothing for play.
